and functions. Analysis conclusions were recorded in company standard
lifecycle documents. Additional duties involved the analysis of

business owner communications and the organization of meetings
to discuss project details.
International Paper
Performed programming and analytical
tasks to correct critical system errors in the facilities MP2/MAPICS
accounting system. Initial duties involved the analysis and determination
of problem areas in the current system design and code. Continuing
duties involved the necessary corrective actions and system development
to correct all issues found in the preliminary analysis. These
duties involved the programming and testing of software code using
Visual Basic for Applications. System development was performed
on Windows 98/NT clients working together with Oracle and AS-400
systems.
Siemens Automotive
Performed programming and analytical
tasks in the development and maintenance of the Sieman's corporate
wide intranet as well as development and maintenance of various
company client/server applications. Duties involved the programming
and testing of software code using HTML, Java, JavaScript, Flash,
Visual Basic, VBA, SQL as well as other web and application development
utilities. System development was performed on Windows 98/NT systems
running various web and database servers such as Apache, IIS,
SQL Server and Oracle.
Department of Social Services
Performed programming and analytical
tasks in the conversion of the DSS Adoption Inquiry System from
a Q&A database to a PowerBuilder/MS-Access database. Duties
involved the programming and testing of software code using PowerBuilder,
MS-Access/VBA through ODBC over a Novell network. Additional resources
were applied toward report generation using the internal reporting
facilities of MS-Access.
Capital One Services, Inc.
Performed programming and analytical
tasks in the prototyping, programming, testing, and delivery of
Capital One's desktop client and intranet applications. Developed
applications for Payment, Research and Investigation systems.
Duties involved the programming and testing of software code using
Java (jdk1.2/jsdk2.1), JavaScript, HTML, Visual Basic, and ORACLE
SQL through ODBC/JDBC over Novell and NT networks. Additional
resources were applied toward utility applications in C++, and
Visual Basic.
Phillip Morris
Performed programming and analytical
tasks in the prototyping, programming, testing, and delivery of
Phillip Morris's Process Control System. Duties involved the programming
and testing of software code using Visual Basic, MS-Access, and
MS SQL-Server through ODBC over Windows NT networks to provide
an efficient method for controlling production processes. Additional
resources were applied toward application programming in MS-Word
and MS-Excel to provide reporting and graphing.
Capital One Services, Inc.
Performed programming and analytical
tasks in the prototyping, programming, testing, and delivery of
Capital One's Tech Vision and Employee Appraisal tracking and
reporting systems. Duties involved the programming and testing
of software code using MS-Access (Visual Basic for Applications),
and ORACLE SQL through ODBC over Novell and NT networks to provide
an efficient method for processing and expediting company report
requests and employee appraisals. Additional resources were applied
toward database management and report generation using MS Access
and ReportSmith reporting systems.
Wang Federal. Inc.
Performed programming and analytical
tasks in the prototyping, programming, testing, and delivery of
the STARS open workflow document management system for the Department
Of State (DOS). Duties involved the programming and testing of
software code using Visual Basic/VBA, SQL, and HotMetal Pro (HTML
generator) on the front end in conjunction with MS-Access, SQL
Server, and MS Internet Information Server on the back end. External
application control was achieved using OLE Automation and direct
API calls. The overall system consisted of Windows 95/NT workstations
in a client/server configuration attached to a Windows NT network.
Additional resources were applied toward the installation and
configuration of Windows NT, SQL Server and various other software
packages to help maintain a complete and efficient workflow package.
Capital One Services, Inc.

tasks in the prototyping, programming, testing, and delivery of
Capital One's "Answer One" call center tracking and reporting
system. Duties involved the programming and testing of software
code using MS-Access (Visual Basic for Applications), and ORACLE
SQL through ODBC over Novell and NT networks to provide an efficient
method for processing and expediting company call information
and reporting. Additional resources were applied toward database
management and report generation using the built in MS Access
reporting system.

Performed programming and analytical
tasks in the prototyping, programming, testing, and delivery of
the Trigon Referral series
of software products for Trigon management personnel and HMO physicians.
Duties involved the programming and testing of software code using
Visual Basic Pro, custom VBX controls, and ORACLE SQL through
ODBC to provide an efficient method for processing and expediting
health care referrals. Additional resources were applied toward
database management and report generation using Oracle, MS Access,
and Crystal Reports software products.
Health Care Information Analysts
(HCIA)
Performed
programming and analytical tasks to aid in the prototyping, programming,
testing, and delivery of the HCIA SoleSourceTM
series of software products for hospitals
and hospital associations. Duties involved the programming and
testing of all code using Visual Basic Pro, various VBX controls,
and SQL Server through ODBC to provide an efficient method for
hospitals and hospital associations to analyze and report on past
and present hospital data. Additional resources were applied toward
the technology of online access to SQL server data through the
Internet using HTML and SQL access utilities.
Planning Research Corp. (PRC)
Performed programming and analytical
tasks to aid in the prototyping, programming, testing, and delivery
of the Automated Architecture Tool Suit (AATS) for the USMC. Duties
involved the programming and analyzing of all code using Visual
Basic Pro and Oracle SQL to provide an enhanced user interface
for various commercial software products as well as to provide
customized code to perform needed tasks not available from other
software products.
General Electric (GE)
Performed management duties
for labor and management personnel which involved the creation
and revision of various company operation methods to help increase
and improve information management and work performance. Duties
involved computer system setup and maintenance as well as various
application programming projects consisting primarily of utility
software programmed with Microsoft Visual Basic, MS AccessBasic,
and Turbo C/C++.
Virginia Power
Performed management operations
for the Vendor Technical Manual (VTM) upgrade project contract
for all components and equipment within Surry Nuclear Power Station.
Duties involved vendor communication, database queries and input,
information gathering and processing, application and utility
programming in WordBasic, Visual Basic, and ObjectPAL.
Newport News Shipbuilding
Performed management operations
for Post Shipboard Assembly (PSA). Work involved timely revisions
of work packages issued to shipboard trades through the ARGOS
Manufacturing System. Duties involved the input of field change
reviews into the ARGOS system, communication with various design
and management personnel to help coordinate the final work package
submittal, and utility programming in BASIC and DOS/Batch languages.
